From January 27 to January 31, prospective new members (PNMS) are invited to learn about our chapter and experience the brotherhood firsthand. Recruitment week activities encapsulate our four pillars of professionalism, scholarship, community service, and brotherhood — join us as we network with actives and PNMS, play creative games, think outside the box, and grow professionally within the W.P. Carey community and beyond!

Recruitment is open to first, second, and third year students studying at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Members of social Greek Life are welcomed to participate in recruitment, as the distinction between professional and social fraternities allows for dual membership. DSP differentiates itself from other Greek Life organizations on campus through its dual commitment to professionalism and social connection, focusing on networking and career development as well as friendship and community service. This unique combination is at the core of our organization, and why we believe DSP is the best way to get involved on campus.
Prior to recruitment week, we encourage PNMS to visit us at tabling events including I-Week, hosted from January 21 to January 24, to learn more about the fraternity and our event scheduling. Thank you for your interest in joining us in this exciting journey! Our brothers in the Gamma Omega chapter here at Arizona State University are thrilled to meet you at Spring 2025 Recruitment week!

Here is some valuable information about the upcoming events.
​
Monday: Meet the Bros
Meet the Bros is a casual event in which Potential New Members (PNMs) have the chance to interact with active brothers of DSP. This event allows PNMs to showcase their values and traits, and see how their personalities align with our chapter’s pillars. It’s an amazing opportunity to both demonstrate how one embodies the qualities of a brother and learn more about the fraternity’s culture.

Tuesday: Mock Interviews
Mock Interviews provide PNMs with a hands-on professional development experience by simulating real-life job interviews. Conducted with active brothers, DSP/ASU alumni, and external professionals, this session introduces the STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) interview method—a key approach upheld by DSP. PNMs can refine their communication skills, practice articulating their accomplishments, and receive valuable feedback to prepare for both recruitment and future career opportunities.

Wednesday: Cards and Chick-fil-A
Cards and Chick-fil-A highlights DSP’s commitment to community service. PNMs will create heartfelt cards for a charitable organization supporting those less fortunate. The activity fosters a spirit of giving back while allowing PNMs to connect with DSP’s values. After/while completing their cards, PNMs can enjoy Chick-fil-A and informal conversations with active brothers, creating a warm and engaging environment.

Thursday: Speed Dating
Speed Dating is a lively, fast-paced event designed to foster personal connections between PNMs and active brothers. Seated across from one another, participants engage in short, fun, and meaningful conversations, answering light-hearted and thought-provoking questions. This event serves as a final opportunity for PNMs to make lasting impressions and build rapport before the invite-only event on Friday.

Friday: Invite-Only Event
If receiving an invite, PNMs will be asked to attend both the Friday Invite-Only event, and an interview on Saturday. The Invite-Only event is the penultimate step in the recruitment process, and is designed to evaluate PNMs on the key characteristics DSP values in its members. Through a combination of activities, discussions, and challenges, PNMs will demonstrate qualities such as leadership, teamwork, and alignment with DSP’s pillars
